If you could ask any question about space flight, space habitation, or the space program, what would it be?
I may have one more chance to interview the NASA engineer who has provided me such great feedback on the technical passages in Prometheus Rebound. But this would be a Q&A session, just for fun, not book-related. So send me your questions — I’d love to pass them along!
And so it begins: the marketing campaign for Prometheus Rebound kicks off with a muffled pop. (Don’t worry… there will be a crescendo!)
I’ve been mostly silent in recent months, but I’ve hardly been lazy! As the days count down to a November release of Prometheus Rebound, I’ve been developing new web content like crazy. In addition to two brand-new cinematic teaser trailers, there are character bios, technical articles, declassified photos, more desktop wallpapers than you can shake a fist at, and… well, just a whole lot of fun stuff that will be released piecemeal over the remainder of 2013 and into 2014.
Kicking my marketing campaign off next week, I will finally, truly “go public” with the release of my first teaser trailer. Stay tuned!
After a considerable amount of detail-oriented agonizing in the last week, I’ve completed a new version of my Prometheus Rebound movie-style trailer.
I’ve completed my rewrites on Prometheus Rebound, along with two full read-throughs (exhausting), and released the manuscript to my gamma testers.
These folks are my last line of defense – they’re brand-new to the project, meaning they’re able to give me a fresh opinion on the book without the added confusion of having read two or three versions of various passages before now. I’m looking forward to their feedback!
Barring discovery of any new issues, I’ll be going into full publication and marketing mode soon after I receive their feedback.
