I’ve commented before that, in defiance of conventional wisdom, I enjoy designing jacket art at the very early stages of a project.  I feel that it helps me set a tone for the story I’m setting out to write.

Well, I was up all night last night working on art for a brand-new series I’ve been putting a little work into.  Not sure when that series will become my priority, but I thought it would be fun to tease you with a few glimpses of my night’s labor.

What do frogs, tubas, and the Fourth of July all have in common? More than you’d imagine, actually. And believe it or not, the timing of this post (the same week as Fourth of July) is purely coincidental.
